I'm still curious about whether or not they actually caught the killers though. Since we're all working here under the impression that we have to get it right in order to get everyone out of here safely, but if they managed to win their game without doing that...

I'm not saying that we shouldn't concentrate on finding out who the murderers are. But it's like you said... there could be multiple ways to beat this.
