[Nico has to fight his panic to keep it from showing or getting out of hand, all because of those three simple statements. While on one hand he prides himself on keeping it so secret that only a child of Aphrodite who's paying attention to him would know, on the other...it's a double-edged sword that cuts him. The statements saying he'll find a girlfriend are without any kind of sting to it, sure, but it still feels like he's having his difference to most people shoved into his face. Even when he lets them think it and doesn't bother correcting them. Or, more accurately, doesn't have the courage to correct them. It's the one thing that Nico hasn't been able to totally move on from in his almost two years of being here. The one thing that'll send him into a panic faster than anyone rejecting him over his powers.

It's...also the one thing he can't trust Hiro with, at the moment. He's too afraid to. Nico's too afraid that it'll either change things for the worse or...he doesn't know what. All he knows is that he doesn't want to risk losing a good friend because of it. It's why he's very careful in what he does and doesn't say in this moment.]

It's.... [He almost says "fine," but he changes his mind.] Don't worry about it. And I figured you two were picking up where you left off.

[He pauses, hesitant.]
