[If Billy ever thought that Hiro wouldn't use his intellect to ask key questions and dodge talking about himself, he was sorely mistaken. As it is he's absorbing everything and, oddly enough, (scarily enough) applying it to himself and Nico anyway.]

People always say not to date your co-workers. I guess that's the same thing. [He frowns a little as he ponders that over.] So…basically you kind of kept getting in each other's way trying to protect each other because you loved each other too much? Or…something?

[That's a little more relatable, and he continues after that.] Remember what I said earlier about Nico not wanting me to do this because he didn't want me to get hurt? He made me wait, like, two months until I convinced him that I'd be fine. And I still think he's a little worried he's not going to be able to protect me. That's why we split up for the month so I can learn more and he can work ahead.

I don't know if I like him, or if I'm just spending way too much time with him. I don't exactly have friends my own age at home either.
