[Thrall obliges Hiro, as always. Though something troubled crosses his expression, it isn't Hiro's fault. A lot of blood was shed to gain a foothold in Kalimdor. In Durotar. The place is a lifeless desert, and the orcs had to build a city out of nothing... but they managed. Things were tight for a few years-- and still are, sometimes-- but trade with Theramore and other places keeps them alive.]
When I freed my brethren from the internment camps, we were a few thousand strong with nowhere to go. The land we settled in was a land no one else wanted-- a desert wasteland. But... as I had been called to that land, so had Jaina. She took half of her father's fleet with her. I think he sought to help, so he followed her across the sea...
[He shakes his head.]
He would not believe that Jaina and I were allies. He attacked my people relentlessly and did everything he could to have me killed. Jaina-- Jaina tried to reason with him, but he would not have it. So she... betrayed him. She would let me into Theramore as long as I promised not to kill her soldiers.
Jaina took control of her land after her father was slain, and our treaty persists to this day. It has been shaky at times, but I refuse to let my people forget how she sacrificed everything for us.
