[...well Katsa you asked.] There's this condition called heterochromia that's basically a discoloration caused by either having a lot of or too little of a certain kind of pigment that matches...which is also different than albinism since that's when something's lacking pigment in general. With heterochromia what happens is that one of your eyes irises is pretty much not receiving enough melanin or it might be receiving too much. Usually I've heard of it being due to genetic make-up but it can also be caused by disease or an injury or even chimerism if you're mixing body parts due to transplants or cell mixing.
[Science.] But like I said, I don't think hetereochromia gives people in my world super-skills.
