I agree. Not only that, but we're certainly not being told the whole story about all that's going on. Actually, I'd find it more worrying if the only real truth we've gotten has been how the war will affect our worlds. How this one place can affect countless worlds and universes.

[Not to mention, he definitely wants to know more about why people want these shards so much. What happens when they complete whatever was broken into these shards? Should it ever be completed?]

Awful? [Joshua gives a very soft sigh.] It happens when you deal with intense fear or sorrow. You kinda feel like you've been shaken up and tossed aside like a rag doll, or that all your insides just got scooped out and left you with nothing. Besides that...when it comes to grief, it stays with you for a long time. Sometimes, it never goes away, leaving a void in your heart. It'll heal or scar over or you'll find someone who can help with that terrible emptiness, but you'll still never be or feel the same.
