After everything that happened out in the labyrinth, I think she might be a little more careful now. Especially after what we found at the altar. I don't think being an optimist is a horrible idea but...that's what she's got people like us for. Maybe Ardeo felt threatened because you're just as powerful as he is? Hard to say.
