First, kindly inform me if I should be using honoriffics etc. as I'm guessing that's a Japanese surname.
Based on what your describing, I believe that there are several possible venues open to you.
1. The island of Leathann is being evacuated and many are selling their wares. There is a chance someone might be getting rid of what you're after. 2. Treun's markets boast a very good variety of materials, and they are twinned with Leathann. Check there. 3. If you know anyone within the Midnight Court, have them ask after either A) the specific item or B) the black market for such goods, and go from there. I imagine the price from either will be steep, but you will have what you need.
Further avenues remain unknown to me.

14 May | Via Same Messenger, hey he's working for his gold..or something
Dude, no, just call me Hiro. Seriously. Sir. Um. Yeah.
I was in Leathann over the summer. Treun, too. I didn't really get a chance to check out the trades but I'll see if I can send somebody out that way to find something for me. Thanks.
I'll resort to the Midnight Court as a last resort…but mostly because I don't have an in.
That's a lot more than I started with. I really appreciate it.
-Hiro
PS I've read your book like four times. I appreciate that, too.
14 May | Via Same Messenger, i hope he's changed horses by now.
Considering it's basically fairy-world black market that doesn't surprise me. Let me rephrase that. I don't know how I'd go about finding out if I have an in unless I start interrogating pretty much everybody I know…which is fine, but time-consuming. I'll see what I can find. I don't know a whole lot about the court in the first place.
You'd be surprised how many people actually don't do that. At all. People tend to hold their cards a lot closer to their chest these days. Let me just extend the favor for anytime in the future, but you probably know more about this place than I do.
-Hiro
PS: …my bad. Wrong author.
Re: 14 May | Via Same Messenger, Hopefully the messenger'll get them a lot of nice treats
My own information beyond the fact it exists is thin, as I've not had any reason to call on it. Who knows - an opportune moment might just pop up when you need it most.
That most people don't is precisely why I do. A point of pride, and because there's so little point in restricting the flow of useful information.
I'll let you know if I find out anything more on the topic of your inquiry, and do let me know if my services are no longer needed.
14 May | Via Same Messenger, poor dude must be getting tired

You might well have an in that you don't know about. It isn't like the Midnight Court advertises who's involved, after all.
And please don't mention it. I try and get people the information they need, even if the flow's a bit restricted these days.

PS: What book?
14 May | Via Same Messenger, I'd also feel bad for the horses tbh
