I know I expect too much and not enough all at once [W3, Wednesday]
[Thinking about it, Fie had told him something very important a week ago that he's been sitting on for some time.
"If your instincts are good, trust them. If you think something feels off, don't just immediately pursue it on your own, think it through."
His instincts are usually pretty good. It's how he figured out everything about the fire, figured out his microbots were being cloned, figured out how to break himself and make himself into something better. But even Hiro has to admit that he's out of his depth and he needs to check himself before bolting off into action. The last thing he wants is to get himself killed before he gets his answers that could help everyone else.
So. The note in his pocket is a surprise. It's something he's thought about and something he's still puzzled over the next morning when he wraps himself up in his hoodie and jogs down the beach. He's probably going to overheat and collapse one of these days, but after the contents of said-note he's not really eager to remove the jacket either.
It doesn't take him long to find Fie near the jungle again. Somehow he's figured there are only a handful of places she'd be and it's with a small sense of relief that he approaches.]
Morning. Wanna go for a walk? [Look if they keep moving, there's less chances of being overheard. This is a great plan.]

[ Fie settles a pace behind him, because walking side-by-side just seems odd. ]

... What did it say? The horoscope?

"The cigarette burn mark on your arm may fade over the coming days and will be replaced by a tattoo of a young lady swathed in roses. A tasty beverage will be coming your way this week -- something to look forward to."
Seems pretty bogus, you know?
