[The nice thing about Honey, he thinks, is that he doesn't have to say anything at all at first. He can just listen to her talk and he's quietly taking in what she's saying and reading between the lines. She's lost someone she cares about, too. They've both gone through this twice now, and it's genuinely a little upsetting to know that she's taking this pretty hard, too. He can hear the raw tone of her voice, hear the sniffling and it makes him feel even worse.

And yet Honey's the one reaching out to him just like last time. He owes her enough to try and not run away this time. They're friends. He can rely on her and he doesn't have to do this alone. It's not like Honey doesn't know where he lives either…

…she's right though. It was amazing they got to see him again. But that also meant it hurt twice as bad when he left again. He has a lot to update Honey on and he'd been stalling. It looks like he doesn't get that luxury anymore. The offer of being close by does make him smile a little, at least. It's hard to say what he wants to do…but he knows he has to get back in touch with her.

Even if it's impersonal, he's texting a response. He doesn't trust himself to actually speak at the moment, so text is easier.]

Hey Honey…doing okay? Heh. Sorry, I didn't want you to find out about him like this…I was going to call. But I guess you have his app too, huh?

[It's easy to pretend he's holding it together this way, he thinks.] I'll be okay. We've had practice, you know? [A cringe. Ughughugh.] …were you serious though? About coming over?

I will be. [Honey usually peppers her texts with cutesy kaomojis. They're noticeably absent in the message. It didn't seem appropriate to put them in, she thinks. Bad joke aside, Hiro was right. They had practice with dealing this. So why does the pain she's feeling akin to what she felt the first time it happened?] No, it's fine, Hiro. Tadashi told me how you two found me in my first ViViD after I got settled in my apartment. Downloaded the app as soon as I could. [She's not quite convinced he's fine. This was a huge blow for the both of them, but she's telling herself to be positive and to stay strong. Honey promised she'll take care of Hiro and she's planning to make good on that promise.] Yeah. Also, I am serious of having a brownie plate just for you.

That app's helped a lot of people. That's how Tadashi found me when I first got here, too. Thinking maybe I should make some upgrades to it so that even more people can use it. Tadashi would want that, don't you think? Helping people.

[While Honey's thinking of that, Hiro's doing his best to try and prove he doesn't need to be taken care of and that he'll be okay this time. He can't bother her with this. He's almost 15. He can handle this.]

I appreciate that. Maybe later? I'm not really hungry right now.

[Ah... So that's how it happened.] Yeah. He would. It's what he always wanted with any invention he makes. [He wouldn't be bothering her at all. She would never consider Hiro to be a burden or anything of the sort. Honey wants to him to know that he shouldn't have to go through this alone, that he has her if he needed any support.] Of course. Just let me know when you want come over, okay?

Maybe this afternoon. The apartment's kinda weirdly empty. Baymax and I are cleaning up a little and seeing if any of Tadashi's stuff is missing.

All right. [She was going to ask if he needed an extra pair of hands, but it looks like Hiro and Baymax would have that under control.] Hey, do you have a favorite gummybear flavor or do you like them all? [It may or may not be connected to what the brownie plate will contrain when he does come over.]

All of them. The pineapple kind are sort of weird but even they taste okay with the others. I can probably bring you a bag later today if you want.

[Well, he's in for a surprise. His reply makes her smile. She would have never guessed that Hiro would like every flavor of gummybear.] I'd like that. The candy I've been grabbing for these days are gummyworms. I need to get back to it.

WHAT. No, you've got it totally backwards! Bears are way better than gummyworms!

[Okay, she can't help but giggle at that. Honey Lemon knew Hiro was fond of gummybears, but she had no idea it was to this extent.] Are you gonna make me see the gummybear light?

YES! I can't believe we've been friends for this long and you're this naive to the superiority of gummybears. I'll be right there. Don't move! And I'm bringing Baymax with me okay?
