I miss my world and my friends [ yeah her family's all gone anyway ] but...

There are important people here that I wouldn't have met if I hadn't come here. I think, no matter what, friends are always worth it.

[That's true. He can agree with that, even if making friends is still a new and weird thing for him. Comes with the territory of being a genius who's used to being picked on and eventually closing off from most people.]

Maybe. But what do you do when those people leave?

Try to find them again. I don't want to think I'll never see them ever again.

So...that means you don't really believe all of the worlds have been destroyed?

Not... exactly. If they can keep bringing people from worlds that they said were already destroyed... o-or even if they were destroyed, I want to believe there's some way to bring them back.

[ She can't let herself think that her world is gone entirely, for good, every single person she'd cared about just... gone, and Mary the only one they'd chosen to extricate. ]

...I'm going to find a way to figure it all out. I don't believe that everything's totally gone either. [Considering Tadashi was here waiting for him.] I've lost a couple of things recently that I managed to get back. There's always a way.
