Katsura told me a lot about them that I didn't even know and I don't know how many other people know. I don't like that they're constantly watching, Tadashi. It's creepy. We need to figure out a way to take ourselves off the grid.
It's in our eyes. [That's what Katsura had told him and he doesn't doubt it.] Ocular implants connected to our nervous system so to disable it might knock us out. [Or kill them. One of the two.] But if they were able to put it in there's a way to take it out. Katsura said it's too dangerous to mess with our own bodies but we could find where in their headquarters they're watching us and disable it from the inside. Why can't we do that?
Tadashi don't you think it's weird that if we're code we can still get hurt and stuff? Or get sick? What kind of code do you know does that? [Hiro...stop. Stop right there.] Katsura just said it would be better not to actually touch the implants.
[It's clear that whoever Katsura is, he's left an impression on the younger Hamada.]
I don't know. [And that's the scariest thing to admit.] I don't know what's causing it or why this is happening but we're not going to find out anything until we either get into the Nexus or we find somebody else from CERES who'll spill.
[Bro. He's not the one who ran into a burning building and died. Don't even talk about worry. Still, he shakes his head a little before wandering off to another part of the apartment to find Mochi, still talking loud enough over his shoulder as he goes.]
Ex-botfighter, remember? There's seriously no reason to worry so much, I'm not going to do anything until I have some more information. Then I'll get us into the Nexus.
[It's not like he's going to take Baymax on a raid, trespass through high-security areas, get kidnapped by robots, watch two members of his team get killed and alert Bellona that they broke in. Jeeze, Tadashi.]
Besides, if Wasabi's in there, what makes you think some of our other friends aren't, too?
[ does he have to remind you how many times he had to bail your ass because of your botfighting? yeah... let's not talk about that. ]
Fine.
I'll do what I can here. [ gather information that hiro can't, for example. he's been here longer, so he should at least... hopefully??? have more connections. but being a brooding tool doesn't help sometimes. it's tough when you think abotu death all the time. ]
[There's silence...and soon Hiro comes back lugging the fat cat with him and he drops onto the couch next to Tadashi, squishing Mochi into his lap and mulling over what's been said. Tadashi's not always going to be around to bail him out. That was the case at home and that may be the case here. And yet...]
If CERES fixed our code, what do you think the likelihood of them fixing Wasabi's code is anyway? [It's the last thing he wants to know. Then he'll stop arguing. For now.]
[ he looks at mochi with his dumb sad eyes before crossing his arms and relaxing on the couch. it's a bit difficult to do so, but it's about time for bed (for him, anyway). ]
I'm pretty sure they'll do it at one point or another. I mean, what they're doing is they're trying to pluck each and every person from their own world into this one.
Even if the person might not be a good fit? Have you met some of the people here? [He's being more docile in his approach at least. It's something he's genuinely been wondering and it's that + the combination and being a little more than tired that're keeping him from wandering off to go do something about CERES right now.] There's gotta be other places besides Cerealia. What if they're sending people there instead? [A whole world can't be comprised of just one city.]
[There's a heavy sigh before he dumps Mochi into Tadashi's lap. Maybe he's right. Maybe he's thinking too much about everything to actually be helpful. At the same time though...
...nah. Tadashi has a point. There's nothing that can be done until they have more information. So instead of arguing further, he gets up from the couch and leaves his brother with the cat.]
Hopefully that's soon. Things are getting weird here. [But what else is new? There's another pause though.] Do...you want your bed back? I can take the couch.
[He's just grown used to taking the bed at this point, honestly.]
[This is why Tadashi's the good brother and Hiro's not. It's going to be useful as soon as Hiro's back from the raid and all sorts of messed up. BUT that's neither here nor there and instead he just nods and begins to back away toward the room.]
action;
action;
[ he looks away, not really wanting to divulge such information just yet. . . but-- ]
If they're watching us, something around us is bugged. But that's not possible.
[ a beat. ]
We're bugged. And to remove it, it'd probably take some coding. Or worse.
[ real pain. ]

Messing with our own bodies— well, [ he definitely can't allow hiro to do that. ] I'd rather not do something like that.

[ you're the genius, hiro. tell him. ]
action;
I'm going to find out though. Trust me.
action;
Please don't give me more reasons to worry about you.

Cool...I'll see you in the morning.
