[And when Yu knocks Hiro answers the door still in his pajamas and wrapped up in a blanket like a small cape. He gives his friend a half-hearted grin and he gestures for him to follow him into the apartment. He looks a little downtrodden still but much, much better than he was back in the dark city.]
When you said soon, you totally weren't kidding. [He grins slightly.] Can I get you anything? We've...probably still got some drinks in the fridge, or I can figure out tea or whatever.
[ Yu is in much the same state. He looks much healthier than he did, like he's finally gotten some rest, but there's a tiredness under his skin. Which is what he gets for still pushing himself despite having the chance to take a little time off. He's gotten right back to classes, right back to work, right back to looking after his friends with only one day to recuperate. He should take more time to look after himself, maybe, but there's an itch in him that can only be scratched if he keeps moving.
One side of his mouth quirks up at what Hiro says. For once, he doesn't bring food, because there hasn't been time to prepare any. ]
[That's never good. But Hiro doesn't know everything Yu's thinking and all he can do is treat this as normally as possible even as he matches the half-grin and nods, gesturing to the couch.] Have a seat.
[And he shuffles away to prepare the tea. He's in the kitchen and futzing around with stuff while he's doing that.]
You don't really know how we got back here either, do you?
[ He makes his way inside, stepping out of his shoes as he loiters around long enough for, inevitably, Hiro to shoo him away. He'll shake his head at the question. ]
No more than how we got out there in the first place.
It's just like the jungle isn't it. Except at least even with the jungle we got an answer. I doubt the Bridge is behind this one, so...what is it?
[Luckily for them, there's some tea still that Hiro can just warm up before he brings it back to his friend, gingerly curling up in a space on the couch to stare at Yu after he passes the cup to him.]
That's the part I'm stuck on. Not to mention half the stuff we found out there.

I offered, Hiro. There isn't much "stuff" when everyone is still recuperating.

[A lengthy pause.]
...door's unlocked. Nobody else is home right now anyway.

Hm. ]
Be there soon.
[ "Soon" turns out to be about ten minutes, at which time Hiro will hear a knocking on the door. ]

Tea sounds fine, Hiro.

[ Yu accepts the tea and takes a sip, shooting his friend a wry look in return for that stare. ]
It's a lot to process, isn't it?
[ Understatement of the century. Also a way of asking: where would you like to start? If Hiro would like to discuss it, that is. ]

[Great. That look. He looks at his lap instead, twining his fingers together to give himself something to do.]
There's...still a lot of stuff I'm trying to process. Is it bad if I don't know what to do with part of it?
