[There's the sound of what's probably Hiro hitting his head on one of the shelves inside the fridge before he shuts the door, crossing the apartment to where Tadashi is and leaning over the back of the couch to stare at Tadashi's CereVice.]

Seriously? [That's...well. Actually, now that he thinks about it, when was the last time either of them saw Wasabi? Everything in the colony had gone crazy not too long after Hiro arrived, but.] You really think he's gone, or his code got stored somewhere else?

[ oh brother. he gets up, setting his laptop on the couch to see if there's anything in the kitchen that he needs to fix. you know, just checking. and once he's back to the couch where hiro is, he doesn't put his laptop back on his lap. instead, he closes it and rests both his arms on his thighs, deep in thought. ]

Being gone here and someone's code being stored means the same thing.

[ a pregnant pause, because he really needs time to think if he continue. but... wasabi is hiro's friend, too. the boy should know. ]

That means he's there in the Nexus Code.

[Ugh whatever, any damages can be fixed later. This is important! He's silently stewing for a moment, arms folded over the back of the couch and staring at the wall in front of them as he thinks. He'd heard that rumor, and hearing it again from Tadashi doesn't help.

But it also doesn't change his mind.]

Then we need to find a way to get into the Nexus.

I'm just not sure how easy that might be.

[ tadashi was more or less prepared for hiro's response, so he replies quickly, as if rehearsed. still, it's true, though. the only time people have been to the nexus code was when everyone's senses started growing dull and haywire.

... maybe that's the pattern to it. or unless you mess up your code on your own, you could end up there, too. but that's an idea he won't say out loud. ]

You know Mosley said that both you and I were here before? I mean - before I actually arrived, and before you did a couple of weeks ago.

[It's a thought he's had on his own, but also one he's kept to himself. He already knows what Tadashi would say if he suggested messing with his own code. Instead, he huffs a little at the thought.]

He actually confirmed it? I was starting to think everybody was crazy. [Multiple people told him he'd been here before. He hadn't realized Tadashi had been here before, too.] So if that's true, that means we were corrupted and something was fixed to bring us back out of the Nexus. If we can get back out, why can't we go in?

I only asked about you, to be honest... then he suddenly told me that I was here before, too. But it wasn't very long. He called us footnotes.

[ which is insulting, but it's good to know that they've only been in cerealia for a short while before being back into code again. if this is the third time his own life's been put to the test, then he might just go insane. and he's also relieved to know that the hiro - the one before - wasn't here for long, either. less danger, that way. ]

I'm pretty sure there's a possibility of going back in.

[ they can try hacking their own code and sending themselves to the nexus code, but that's way too dangerous. he would not subject his brother to that...

damn, now that he's said there's possibility, hiro might start thinking things. good job, tadashi. you and your big mouth. ]

Footnotes? [Well screw him, too. He makes a face at that because he refuses to be a footnote and the fact that Mosely bothered to tell Tadashi the additional information? It's actually a bit worrisome. What was the point? What was the point of supplying the extra information other than to needle at the elder Hamada and make him think?]

There's definitely a possibility, but we're gonna need to really figure out how to make this work without erroring out. [He's already thinking. Good job, Tadashi, indeed.] If we're just code there's gotta be an easy way to rewrite us to be whatever we need to get into the Nexus. I just don't understand how it's done yet.

[ tadashi rolls his fist into a ball and hits hiro on his temple lightly. (not like he could ever be violent towards... well, anybody.) it's the same feeling when tadashi calls him a knucklehead and hits him on the head. ]

Don't get any ideas yet, [ ugh, definitely too late, and he can already tell. ]

It'll be better to let other people know that there might be a possibility. But all of these are just theories, anyway.

[He swats at Tadashi's hand, only partially put out. It doesn't hurt or anything and it's actually a pretty familiar gesture. It's weirdly comforting, whatever that means. Regardless, he doesn't like the idea of not having ideas.]

Well they won't be just theories if we start figuring stuff out. Who else do you even know that would be able to use this information right?

[ he looks at hiro when he says this, tone dead serious. and he shouldn't think that he's the only hero around here, either. ]

Then who else, Tadashi? [He knows he's not...but he hasn't been here long enough to really start asking around and finding out these pieces.]

Well, that. . . I haven't figured out yet.

But there's got to be other people whom we can work with.

Find them and we'll work with them. [Maybe. He's grown better at working with others, but in a place like Cerealia...he knows he's at a disadvantage. Tadashi knows better.]

This guy came over the other day and told me about some of the stuff CERES has gotten up to. [He points to the sign Katsura left at the apartment and Baymax taped up.] People wanna fight back, but we need to decide the best way to get in and do it. What's stopping us from just breaking in somehow?

[ he looks at the sign and makes a face. what the hell kind of sign is that, and why is hiro getting acquainted with these strange people? he's definitely not doing a good job of being a big brother if hiro's making friends with terrorists. ]

Um, a lot of things? [ he arches a brow. ] What do you think CERES will do to you if you get caught?

[Heyheyhey. That strange man actually helped him out in ViVid, you should be happy. Even if he's a terrorist.]

I'm not risking anything, [ he says firmly. ] If you're going to do something reckless, I better be there with you.

[He rolls his eyes...but he goes to do what Tadashi says anyway. It's fine, he'll just hang it up again later to freak him out.]

I thought you just said you're not risking anything. I'll take Baymax with me. [He's not exactly jazzed at the idea of risking Tadashi's life, either.]

[ hiro you little shit, you better not do that. and he REALLY NEEDS TO INSTALL GPS TRACKERS ON HIS BRO'S CLOTHES SOON dammit. ]

[ he'll come find you. ]

[Sorry, Tadashi, it might not be soon enough to stop Hiro from disappearing and going on the raid of CERES' facility.]

...[There's a sigh before there's a small bump of his chin into the side of Tadashi's head.] You know you're worried about nothing, right? I can handle all of this.

[He thinks. He assumes. And there's a problem with being at the age where you want to pretend you can take care of yourself while being dropped in the a horror-colony. It's fine. This is fine.]

[ hiro, you're fourteen. stop thinking you can do everything. you aren't immortal. ~~you could be, but not for long.~~ ]

[Oh he'll realize that soon enough. For now though he rolls his eyes.]

Well...[He actually doesn't have a good answer for that.] Baymax and I will be careful and we'll let you know what we find, if we find anything. Promise. [Which is still a fancier way of saying "don't worry about it."]

I haven't talked to Mosley yet either. Thought about what you said, decided to hold off on it for a little bit...not that it makes a difference since everybody's unreachable now, but...you know. [Which is also a fancier way of saying "I'm still listening to some things you're saying."]

[ he'll probably have to check out baymax's cameras every night just to see what he and hiro have been up to, too. dammit, hiro!! ]

Just be sure to be careful.

As for Mosley, [ he lets out a resigned sigh. ] CERES really is undependable...

Katsura told me a lot about them that I didn't even know and I don't know how many other people know. I don't like that they're constantly watching, Tadashi. It's creepy. We need to figure out a way to take ourselves off the grid.

[ he looks away, not really wanting to divulge such information just yet. . . but-- ]

If they're watching us, something around us is bugged. But that's not possible.

[ a beat. ]

We're bugged. And to remove it, it'd probably take some coding. Or worse.

It's in our eyes. [That's what Katsura had told him and he doesn't doubt it.] Ocular implants connected to our nervous system so to disable it might knock us out. [Or kill them. One of the two.] But if they were able to put it in there's a way to take it out. Katsura said it's too dangerous to mess with our own bodies but we could find where in their headquarters they're watching us and disable it from the inside. Why can't we do that?
