Probably as good a reason as any, but who needs self preservation when you have technology?

Persuasive's a good way to put it. She's sharp. Definitely a good person to work with and I haven't met any other doctors here besides the robots and aliens at the hospital. A doctor on our side could really help us out. As far as I can tell there's never a downside to communicating with people around here.

I've been trying to network and learn about people as much as possible here just to be on the safe side of things. With the way things go in the colony you never know when we're going to need a doctor or a waterbender or a demon tamer or...I don't know, a circus clown or something. Before I got here, I was the target for the knife thrower. She's really quite good.

Admittedly, the pay isn't so bad.

It's not a practice I'd necessarily recommend. Moreover, I can throw knives, but I'm not as good as Catherine. My specialties are in ballistics and firearms. I'm not about to start shooting at you.

Why not? One of the girls training me has gauntlets that shoot things. [He seems to realize how stupid that sounds though.] I mean I appreciate you not shooting me but...I could use the agility training.
